Allison Elaine Nixon is an American author and freelance writer originally from Tracy, California, just outside the San Francisco Bay Area. She traded her fast-paced Bay Area life for the quiet charm of the French countryside, where she now lives just outside Paris with her French husband and their two California-native dogs, Lexie (a special-needs, "allergic to the world" Australian Cattle Dog Mix) and Kai (a high-energy, fun-loving Pomeranian), who keep life entertaining and full of face-palm moments.
Inspired by the small towns she discovered during her travels across the United States, her upbringing in California’s Central Valley, and the gentle charm of the surrounding French villages, Allison creates warm, cozy stories that celebrate community, fresh starts, and the magic found in everyday moments.
